I graduated college this year, after 4.5 years of grueling labor trying to find a career while I was trying to find a reason to stay alive. I am finally back home, and your post made me remember again that things don't have to be what they were when I was younger. Thank you so much for writing this.
I think it is called progress or process. Either way it's about moving forward, one step at at time and taking the time to fit the pieces of the puzzle into the right places. Walking out of a library one day, I saw a woman bent over a table with a arge jigsaw puzzle on it and I stopped and watched her for a few moments She must have sensed I was watching because after a couple of minutes, she looked up at me and smiled. I said, "That puzzle with so many pieces looks very complicated." She paused for a moment, and still smiling, said, "It's like life, a lot of small pieces." So, there's that!
You're welcome, David. Glad also to have introduced you to kintsugi. Just happened to be here at the moment correcting a typing error. Fickle fingers on a small keyboard!

From endings comes a great stillness, and awaken wisdom.
That's a gorgeous picture that fits so well with the spiritual and intriguing text that follows. Thanks for this.
