The crazy thing is that I walked in to the kitchen to tell my husband about the article and found him going through cabinets cleaning out expired products - seventeen cans of seriously expired food. We are going to be more conscientious about what we buy.

Does “seriously expired” mean far beyond the date of use by? What’s the cutoff between expired and seriously expired? Seriously…….curious, inquiring mind wants to know. 😉

The oldest was use by 2020, and the rest were between 2020 and 2023.

Such a good illustration, thanks for sharing. I know we could buy less and do the village trek to the la bodega, panaderia, and carniceria as needed, more frequently.

A little more inconvenient but perhaps worth it.
