Beautiful, insightful and full of heart as usual Gary. Thank you for this. I loved this line especially...."Fear knocked at the door, faith answered. No one was there".

Like Diana below, you and many others our family took some of the "leaps", and even though some of them were far from easy and the experience not all peaches and cream, in retrospect so valuable. Small subset of examples. Up sticks and moved to China from the US...six small kids under 12 and some very deep breaths. Moving to a rural location up a dirt road here in Australia having lived a life filled with big city living. I don't think we have any location changes in our future Gary, but some internal landscape changes keep peaking around the corners at us, that may require the same leap. 🙂

We have just sold our big family home and are moving into a new engineered lake community into a bungalow villa about half the size. More of a lock and leave home so we can do some travelling. We are semi retired and in our early 60’s.

We lived in our community for 28 years, raising our kids, building our careers and enjoying our neighbors.

It’s a big change and we are stepping into the unknown. A chance to grow, make new friendships and learn more about the world. A calculated risk yes but if not now when?

We only go around once (that we are aware of) and intend on living life to the fullest.

Your post hit home today. Thank you
